Anacortes Soo Bahk Do is certified by the U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation.
Colette Arvidson Sa Bom and Andy Arvidson Sa Bom are Master Instructors certified by the Korean Soo Bahk Do Association World Moo Duk Kwan. Colette and Andy Arvidson have been training in the Art of Soo Bahk Do since 1996 & 1997 respectively. They continue to train under the direction of their instructor, Curt McCauley Sa Bom Nim, LaConner, WA. They received their instructor training/apprenticeship at his studio and completed the National U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation Instructors Certification program before opening this studio in Anacortes in January 2005. The first year of classes were held at the Anacortes Senior Center. The 2117 O Avenue location was opened in January 2006. The Arvidsons tested for 5th Degree in 2015 before the Grand Master.

Andy Arvidson also teaches a separate class on the long form of Tai Chi Chuan, as received from his Tai Chi Instructor, Don Magness.
